Head of knowledge transfer elected
The SNSF elects Stéphane Praz as head of knowledge transfer for NRP 72 "Antimicrobial Resistance".
Stéphane Praz, a freelance science journalist, scientific editor and communication conceptor, has been elected head of knowledge transfer of the National Research Programme "Antimicrobial Resistance" (NRP 72). His role will be to promote knowledge exchange between the research groups involved in NRP 72 and interested organisations and individuals, while also communicating the research results to a wider public.
NRP 72 aims to contribute to a reduction in antimicrobial resistance in an attempt to prevent complications in the treatment of infectious diseases now and in the future. The main goal of the five-year programme is to formulate recommendations for human and veterinary medicine, public health and the environment. By drawing up and implementing a knowledge transfer concept, Stéphane Praz will play a key role in familiarising government offices and practitioners with the research results and recommendations.
